A brief history of the Chicago & North Western Iowa Division mainline, now part of the Overland Route:

06/26/21

This large stone arch bridge crosses East Beaver Creek near Ogden.
Similar to many other bridges in the area, this stone arch is one of the larger stone arches along this route.
Originally, a wooden trestle likely stood at this location. During the double tracking of 1898-1902, this structure was built.
Overall, the bridge remains in excellent condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the number of stone arches in the area.
The photo above is an overview. It can be accessed from an abandoned road to the south.
